The Nunn Company is a real estate appraisal and consulting firm which has performed a wide variety of assignments. The firm was established in 1989, and has grown from a sole proprietorship to a firm employing four persons in addition to having three affiliate offices in the central Missouri area. Its principal has approximately 34 years real estate and appraisal experience. The firm provides service throughout Missouri, with its primary market area being the central portion of the state. By choice, and to provide the most expedient service to its clients, the firm has elected to perform appraisals only in Missouri.

Additional client service and appraisal expertise is provided through an affiliation with appraisal firms in Columbia and Lebanon. These firms are Wright Appraisals and Ted Dahl and Company.

Service and professionalism are the primary concerns of the firm. Every effort is made to provide a level of professional service that fits the requirements and needs of a client. In order to maintain the highest level of professionalism, the principal holds designations in the Appraisal Institute in addition to being state certified. Other appraisers with the firm hold state certifications or licenses. The principal as well as appraisers with the firm attend classes and seminars on various real estate and appraisal topics on a regular basis to help them keep abreast of changes affecting the profession, markets, and other related matters.

A wide clientele is served, including lenders from around as well as outside of Missouri, various government agencies and municipalities, corporations and institutions, individuals, accountants, and attorneys.

The firm performs appraisals on most types of properties, including various categories of land (residential, recreational, industrial, commercial, subdivisions), residential, multiple family, office, industrial, retail, hotel/motel, shopping center, restaurant, and special purpose uses such as churches, lumber yards, schools, truck terminals, car washes, golf courses, etc.

Services in addition to real estate appraisals include consulting, assessment review, appraisal review, and counseling regarding state certification processes, as well as various studies and analyses such as feasibility studies, market analyses, market rent studies, occupancy studies, operating expense analyses, etc.

A significant portion of the firm’s commercial assignments includes valuations and consultation for litigation and condemnation as well as expert witness testimony for a variety of situations (valuation, zoning, real estate tax appeals, state certification hearings, etc.).
